    I have some 16:9 dvds I converted to MKV using MakeMKV. The dvds play 100% fine from the from a dvd in my dvd player to my tv, but after ripping and and converting to MVK, when I play the files on my PS# using PLEX the video is not full screen, there are black bars on the sides of the screen? Why is this and can it be fixed?

    How big are the bars? Maybe your encoded anamorphically and plex or the PS3 doesn't support anamorphic encoding in MKV files. The PS3 is crap as a media player.

    Just updated the PLEX server software and issue seems to have gone away. It did seem like an anamorphic issue. Thanks for the reply jagabo
