So I have been testing out MakeMKV to turn DVDs (Video_TS/AUDIO_TS files) into MKV filkes to play through PLEX on my PS3. The output file names from MakeMKV are title0.mkv. They are in folders with the movie name. My question is, should I keep the default mkv name, or should I rename the title0.mkv to "moviename".mkv? Or does it even matter?

  2. It doesn't matter, but it couldn't hurt.

I name/rename all my DVD or BD conversions to MKV(H.264/AC-3) format to the original DVD name and toss any useless folders.
Makes them easier to work with and easier to catalog.

I'll need the folders, for use with PLEX, I'll be renaming all the MKV files to the original Movie names. Luckily I just started my conversions, so I only have 4 MKV files.
