  1. hmmm....kinda strange things happen here. i use VD to framserve to CCE 2.51 for divx to SVCD mpg encoding. all works usually fine and the audio conversion is done via extracting the audio from VD to wav and then using tmpgenc (and toolame) to make a compliant audio file (mp2).
    normally, those files (the mpg video and mp2 audio file) match up in file lenght when checked in WMP, but sometimes they dont.
    meaning, even the converted video or audio play lenght is differing from the original divx file. how come? even when using pulldown, the file lenght dont match usually. and accordingly, when i use bbmpg to mux, the audio is out of sync.

    any ideas?

  2. Check the framerate of the Divx and make sure you use the right template in TmpGenc. Most Divx movies I have seen are 23.97 fps NTSCFilm) but a few are 29.97 (NTSC) and some are 25 (PAL). This may explain what you are seeing
