I noticed few audio glitches when recording with my full HD Panasonic X920. It is recorded on SD Card. Is it normal? Faulty camcorder? Faulty SD Card? After audio glitch, volume gets lower and then gradually normalize after 5-6 seconds.
Here is example:

but on example only glitch can be heard, lower volume is notice only on original MTS and played with Windows Media Player (cannot be noticed played witg VLC), so if you are interested in RAW MTS (cca. 40MB), you can download from here:

Yes, there is no change in levels after the glitch. The pumping is caused by some normalization filter in your playback chain.

You are right. Lower volume can be avoided by changing Dolby Digital settings in player itself. But this is minor issue. I am questioning myself why this drop/glitch/digital pop was happened? Do you have any experience? Should I be worried about faulty camera or SD card? I am using microSD card in SD adapter in my camcorder (because there was no normal size SD card when I was buying).
Thanks. -
Basic troubleshooting: try another SD card. If you get the same glitches, it's your camera.

It's almost certainly not the SD card unless you also get occasional glitches in the video too.
