NEED HELP PLAYING VCD'S ON DVD PLAYER's

i am having trouble playing vcd's on any of mine or my friend's dvd player's. i can't get any of the vcd's that i burn working. even if i downloaded it in vcd rars or just the mpeg. i use nero burning rom. i can play it on my computer but not on dvd players. PLEASE HELP AND U WILL BE HAPPY THAT U DID SO..my icq # is 113005145. PLease reply here or contact me.

Try these...

1. Some DVD players will only play CD-RW (rewriteable) vcds.

2. Check the DVD player compatablility list.

3. Make sure that the VCD is in the proper mpeg format.

4. Sometimes it is a write problem. Write the cd at a lower speed (4x).

thankx a lot.i'll look into it. i have a sony dvd player and a rca dvd player and yes.it is in the correct mpg format.!!!
