    Hi Everyone,

I was recently trying to remove some subtitles from an MKV file with the use of MKVMerge and the following message came up :

Error in the Matroska file structure at position 399572169. Resyncing to the next level 1 element.

Now, I'm not sure what that means. Will this error cause a problem with the final output file ?

if so, does anyone know of any software that can repair the file structure of an MKV file

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,
you can try Avidemux as remuxer. Copy video, copy audio and output format Mkv muxer. It will put away everything else then audio video.
Or you can use mkvextract to extract desired tracks and then mux it in mkvmerge (mkvtoolnix)
I always got warning and error message, but everything was always o.k. . I downloaded latest 9.2.0 Photograph version, and no warning or errors now.

Using MKVmergeGUI if you just make a straight copy ie leave all track boxes ticked do you still get that error?
