VSDC Video Editor

Can anyone tell me why VSDC Video Editor only records the first couple of minutes of the soundtrack? It does everything I want it to do, but won't record the whole soundtrack.

What are you recording? From a mic? From a video file? How? What?

And VSDC is an editor...not any recorder...

I often record my let'splay vids with this editor (+ my voice + game sounds), some of them may be up to 1 hour long. But I use the previous version.

I make my own videos and download them onto my computer. I then edit them using VSDC Video Editor, and burn them to DVD. I've been doing this for quite some time now, with no problems at all, even with long movies, but now I only get the first couple of minutes of the films soundtrack. I just can't understand why.
