  1. Hi, I noticed that when I start a new video (by double clicking the file name in windows explorer), or watch a playlist of videos in potplayer; when each video starts, the audio is quiet at the beginning, and it ramps up to a normal level after a few seconds. How do I get rid of this? However, when I stop the video in potplayer and move the progression bar back to 00:00 seconds, and press play, there is no audio fade in.

When i use VLC, this doesn't happen. There is no audio fade in period.

    Thanks.

  2. Turn off the audio normalization in potplayer or you audio card's drivers, or both.

  3. Thank you so much for the reply. I unchecked Audio Processing > Normalizer in potplayer and it works great now.
