I'm having a heck of a time with this.
It works sometimes, but not others and I can't figure it out.
My setup:
Both PC w/ Win 10 64-bit
Both running VLC 2.2.1
Laptop/Server is on Wifi (I've also tried connecting it via LAN).
Desktop/Client is on LAN.
Ultimately I'm trying to stream a Ricoh Theta S 360 camera.
I'd prefer RTSP.
I've followed the many vague guides on how to set this up. Seems quite simple.
I've turned off firewall completely.
I've tried doing port forwards.
I can stream to localhost, no problem.
But can't get the laptop to connect to the desktop or vice versa.
Doesn't matter if the laptop is on Wifi or LAN.
I don't get it.
I'm hoping some kind soul here can help me through this.
