  1. Buddy has a DJI Phantom (quad copter) he crashed so the video terminated improperly.

    Suggestions on FREE software to repair this? in an old thread I found a website and there is video in the file but I sure as heck am not paying them $37 to fix it!!

    I though I remembered a utility would finish the header/toc or whatever file structure error does this (when you don't properly stop writing a video file such as power interruption)

    any suggestions for free solutions? VLC and Media Streamclip can't play it.

    any help would be greatly appreciated. in the mean time I am going to see if super can chew on it but I doubt that's going to work.

    Could you try graus video repair tool? Select the broken mov and a working mov and see if it can fix anything.

    And if it works I could fix the entire clip. The trial will only repair half the movie.

    I'd say $37 is cheap if the file is important to you, but that's just my perspective.
    You can always "roll-your-own" using a hex editor.
