EAC - How to Auto Fill CD TAG Metadata Info for Unlisted CD's

BACKGROUND
I have a a library of Audio Books on CD-ROM that I want to archive to my hard drive using EAC ripping software. These CD's are not listed in any of the Music Library databases because they are audio books, NOT music cd's. The Title, Artist, etc. tags are not available in those databases. This means that these tags do not automatically pre-fill the CD information text fields in EAC. The text fields I'm referring to are the ones at the top of EAC, just under the tool bar and over to the right; the text fields that ask for, "CD Title", "CD Artist", "Genre", "Year", "CD Performer", etc.

These audio book sets contain between 6 to 13 disks each. When I insert the next CD into the drive, all the information in EAC gets reset to blank. For each CD, I must enter all the CD metadata tag information by hand even though the only thing that changes is the CD number. What I have been doing, as a workaround, is to save the tag info to a text file and copy/paste each field for each new CD. This is tedious and time-consuming. After running the software on any of the CD's, the TAG information gets uploaded to the FreeDB database. If I insert that same CD into the drive again, only some the information appears, namely, the Artist and Title. All other fields are being left blank for some reason. (But that is an issue for another thread!)

I have tried importing the CD-Text information from the CD itself (my CD drive allows this, and the option in EAC is checked.) However, my CD's do not provide this info.

I have tried to export the CD Metadata TAG information to all the formats EAC (supposedly) allows, but none of them works properly.

The various formats available are as follows:
From EAC Main Menu: "Database > Export CD Information To > (selection list)"

Export > Selection List Items:

• Clipboard
• Text File
• DB Text File
• CDPLAYER.INI
• .CDT File

NOTE: After exporting, none of these formats contains ALL the information from the text fields.

QUESTION
The question I would like to explore is this:

• How can I preserve all the CD Metadata TAG information from the 1st CD of a set to my hard drive so I can apply that data to the each subsequent CD in the set with only minor changes.

One solution would seem to be to create a Local freedb database on my hard drive. However, EAC v1.1 does not seem to support such a local database since EAC v0.99. (See my related post here: VideoHelp: EAC-Does-v1-1-Support-Local-FreeDB-Database)

I recently did 5 sets of GERMAN audiobooks for my son with CDex and the online library got everything perfect every time.

Thanks for the head's up. I am installing it now. Is there a way to use the same metadata for all the CD's and just make the minor changes needed, like CD number, etc. ? Or do you have to enter all fields for every CD in each set like in EAC?

I just use the default freedb.org as the remote database and I have it set to NOT automatically connect/find the inserted CD unless I initiate it. New CD inserted....new search.
If the info is insufficient (to me) then I just break out BulkRenamer or MP3tag.
