    Hey! there all
Being baffled by seeing tons of Avisynth filters for various needs, I can't quite decide what filters I should choose. So I would appreciate if you guys could suggest me some of the best & common filters for increasing brightness, color & saturation. Please reply.

  2. I've never come across an automatic filter for that sort of thing I didn't think was fairly horrible.

    For manual adjustment:

    http://avisynth.nl/index.php/ColorYUV
    http://avisynth.nl/index.php/RGBAdjust

  3. ColorYUV() as autowhite and autogain options. But as hello_hello pointed out, auto features like that rarely work well.

  5. Sharpen(), aWarpSharp(), aWarpSharp2(), UnSharpHQ(), downscale followed by nnedi3_rpow2().

Sharpening is very hard to do without producing artifacts, and exacerbating existing artifacts.

  6. I agree with what jagabo said about sharpening, which is why I don't do it much, but if I was to sharpen it'd be with LSFMod. It's fairly slow though.
