  1. I have Authored Monster Inc Screener to Vobs using Spruce DVD Mastreo, and then burned them to a DataSafe DVDr using Nero 5.5.8.0 at 1 speed on my A04 OEM Firmware 1.20

At first i thought with no problems. I then loaded it into my Xwave 1000K, and it Loaded fine. watched the movie with no glitches or any loss of quality.

My Problem is this: Why would the same DVDr when loaded into the same player, not work at all the morning after. just came up with a message saying no disk.

now at first you would think it was down to the Xwave, but i then went and loaded the same disk into my JVCs42 standalone, No Luck.
My Xwave 900 - No Luck and my PC also with some very strange results.

The DVDr did not work the first 3 times i inserted it into my PC toshiba DVD drive, but on the third insertion it loaded the movie and worked fine.

I'm at a loss, I am now burning the same vobs on a princo disk to see if that produces the same results, anyone have any input on this one :D

  2. OK Update on the Princo Media

Worked fine on both Xwaves The JVC and PC System.

Could it just be the DataSafe Media are CRAP, or that they are not suitable the be written on using a pioneer A04.

won't know if its a complete success until tommorow when i try loading the princo media again. (Fingers crossed)

I received a batch of "supposed" Princo generic media. They are all crap, and I am going to return them. I also bought some "supposed" Princo generic DVD-RW (from the same place, YESBUY) and I don't know if they will erase or not. If not, THEY will go back, also.
