I currently own a media player that is connected to my tv via hdmi that I stream movies off my MyCloud connected to my router, it does the job but I was hoping a big tv company like Sony would invent something with this technology built into the TV as supposed to a 3rd party unit such as sumvision and WD media tv live players.

Looking at Sony's new Android tv it looks like I have found what I am looking for but can I ask for those who have this TV, can you please comment on the streaming quality of the video's if that is you are using it to stream of a network hard drive? Is the playback smooth, any buffering, bugs, glitches? What's it like running MX player, or Vlc player? Anyone tried the MyCloud App on this TV? £400 is a lot of money to spend on something and then return it because it doesn't do what you want it to. I can't find any reputable source that talks about this particular feature of the Android TV.
