  1. I am sure this has been asked before but I have never found a solution. I have a bluray mkv file, no issues, panning is smooth, but when I convert it to dvd NTSC compatible mpeg2, the panning is often jerky and not smooth. The source file is probably PAL so I am sure that might be part of the issue in conversion. I have tried TMPG video mastering works, QMC (quick media converter) and xvid4psp. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try also avstodvd. You can output as dvd or mpeg2 files.

Post also the video details from the mkv. Use for example mediainfo, open mkv, change to view->text and copy all video details.

You should convert it to NTSC in AVStoDVD.

  5. I used it, not much better, some flicker too. There must be a tweak I have to set. Also, how do you get it to give you 16x9?
