The issue is with the ctoken , unknown by ffmpeg .

Livestreamer works very well .
Example , you have to write the end of the link .

livestreamer works correctly. the token must have expired, request a new one.

IDM also works if the video is played from the direct cast time webpage:

I do not think the token expired because I tried couple times with 3 different token's , and i even tried using the same token while the video play in the background on the web browser

i tried IDM but it download all the TS files separate

Are you including all of the parameters, including ctoken, str and exp?

You IDM version is old, or you are not playing the video from the direct embed url referenced in my last post.

but of course i tried the full parameters ctoken, str and exp
i tried couple of times because it really bugs me why it doesn't work so i tried everything.

about the idm it doesn't work for me yet i really hope there's another way

Well in the case of this particular cdn provider (Cast Time) I have verified that all three parameters (ctoken, str and exp) are required or else the hls playlist/manifest will not download. Cookies must also be fully supported. Livestreamer and IDM support them. ffmpeg is much more limited in its support of cookies.

You can also test the m3u8 playlist/manifest at https://www.hlsplayer.net/ (flash required).
Without all three parameters being present and unexpired, the playlist/manifest will not download (token error) and the video will not play.

i really hope there's another way
