  1. Hi everyone,

    I have been trying to download ffserver for windows. I am unable to.

    FRom what I read - It says ffserver will not work in windows Is this true?? I couldn,t find anything like it in https://ffmpeg.org/ffserver.html


    I have used ffmpeg and encoded videos in h.264. Now i have to send this video over a network. I read that ffserver is a good option. Since am not able to install ffserver. Is ter any other way to send the encoded video files.

    As I recall, ffserver uses native Linux features and isn't easily ported to Windows. There is no ffserver.exe. Windows 10 has a DLNA server built in. VLC Media Player also has server capability.

    So if ffmpeg is installed not as static build. But using MinGW. Does it help for ffserver. I thought MinGW was a Linux environment creation.
