Invalid Mpeg video stream

Hi guys , has anyone ever come accross the error " illegal video stream" on opening a file using TMPGEnc. ?
Basically becouse my dvd player does not play SVCD's i use the above program to fool the dvd player when i play svcd's.
I have done several movies this way and they always worked perfect, but i am having problems opening 2 movies (svcd of coures) the message "illegal mpeg video stream" appears all the time. Anyone can help me on that. Thanks

I guess you got this error when trying to demux the .mpg.
So probably you did anything wrong with the conversion. It might be helpfull, if you would analyze the MPEG-2 with the usual analyzers (bitrate viewer, MPEG properties, MPEG Ganalizzatore, MPEGRepair) to figure out what is wrong with the file. How could anyone here give you an exact answer? You have the file, you have to analyze it. At least I am not psychic. If TMPG tool give you a " illegal video stream" error message, your mpg might be an illegal video stream.

Ok does it make any difference if i told you that the file works 100% on my PC, in other word is as good as many other Svcd's movies i have done in the past? Cheers
