fix mp4 files to play from Sony Bravia

HI, I have a reasonably large number of mp4 and MKV files which play okay on my computer but fail when playing directly from my Sony Bravia. After about 25 minutes of playing the screen goes black and the message "Playback is unavailable" is displayed. After a bit of searching it appears that there is something about the audio encoding that the Sony does not like. Various parties suggest recoding and Handbrake is mentioned however I find it a bit on the slow side. Does anyone have a good quick solution for this problem?

Will let you re-encode the audio to AAC without re-encoding the video. so quite quick
