    I'm using mkvtoolnix 8.2.0 for mac and when I add videos to job queue and click on start and the process finishes, the program freezes and the only way I can exit is through mac's default opt+command+esc. Is there a solution?

    Does it freezes with all kind of video?

    Tried latest version? https://www.videohelp.com/download/MKVToolNix-9.0.1.dmg (if it works with your mac osx version).

    Thanks Baldrick. This newer version works well and does not seem to have this problem (so far!!). I'm not too keen on the interface layout though.
