Hi
I've been fiddling around with TmpgEnc for some time now. but I have some questions that I can't seem to find out for myself.
In the Advanced Options you can choose between different video sources. 1:1 VGA, 4:3 PAL and NTSC among others.
What exactly does this option do to your final encoded film?
I've tried different settings, but it doesn't change anything.

VGA is for video that you might want to play on a computer only, while PAL is the video standard in Europe and NTSC is the video (television) standard in the United States.
