I wonder if someone could please help me with this. I have a video file (which plays in media player) and an associated subtitles (text file)
What I want to do is display both files separately in two sections (separate windows) of a web page but have some kind of slider / time-line function so that if I moved to a point (say - 5 mins) in the video, the corresponding subtitle file will also scroll to roughly that point. It does not have to be frame accurate.
I can get the video and text (subtitle) file displayed in two septate windows of a web page but it is the synching and scrolling where I need some idea / help. Is there something I could use in possibly javascript, php, vb script etc to do this?
Any guidance will be highly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Annie
