Need help with VCD Toolbox pleease!

Hi

I am creating a photo album project in VCD Toolbox and what I have is the following:

Welcome Screen
Main Menu with 7 options on (photos split in to categories)
Thumbnail menu (perhaps two of these menus if there are a lot of pics in this category - there will be a thumbnail menu for each category shown on the main menu)

What I want to do is...

If for example you select option 1 on the main menu the thumbnail menu appears (images on with numbers underneath), you select a number and that picture is displayed. While viewing the selected picture if you press the next button the next picture in the sequence (from the thumbnail menu) appears, if you press the back button the previous pic appears and if you press return you are taken back to the thumbnail menu.

My problem...

When creating the play order it does not appear to let you have a menu with lots of options on (my thumbnail menu) nested off the main menu (contains 7 items) so how will I get it to do what I want??

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not quite sure if I understand you correctly, but I think you want to nest still image events. The best way is to create a sequence for each event, and nest the sequences together.

You can define the Previous, Next, and Return button actions with sequences just like menus. Normally, a single sequence will have multiple events executed with a pause between events. However, there is no reason why you can't create multiple sequences, each with a single event (your image file) and nest the sequences together.

Thanks, thats what I thought however I was hoping there would be an easier / quicker way as for one catagory alone I have 31 images so that means 31 sequences and in each sequence I then have to tell it that P goes back to the previous image, N goes to the next image and return goes back to the thumbnail menu.

If I was to just have the events coming off the thumbnail menu (so there would be no PNR option) would the PNR buttons work at all?

Here is a layout of what im trying to acheive - the O represent a screen - represents the flow:

Key:
W = Welcome screen
MM = Main menu (which has 6 'catagories' on)
TM = Thumbnail menu
() are comments relating to that screen


W MM TM
O - O - O (choose a number shown under thumbnail)
|
O (selected picture is displayed on a new page)

Pressing the N button at this point takes you on to the next image, P takes you to either the thumbnail menu or the previous menu (dependant on which image your are on i.e the first or the second etc) and pressing R takes you back to the thumbnail menu.

Sorry the diagram in the last post looks wrong, the O that flows under W should flow under the TM. Looks like the spaces disappeared when I submitted the post.
