Panasonic DMR-EH 60 Problems.

I've been given this DVR and it works fine EXCEPT: 1/ There's no audio to accompany the DVD or HDD video, and 2/ Even with a good antenna and good looking connections it won't tune in set-up and just says there's no signal and to check the antenna and connections.

I think Australia switched off the last analogue TV transmitter in 2013, so there is no signal for the antenna to receive. There is no digital tuner in that unit. These older units are only OK for replay, or recording from a non antenna source.
The audio problem does sound like either a unit or connection fault.

Thanks for that as I didn't realise it was an analogue only device. I will chase the audio though as the DVD player is good.
