Simple I converted several MKV's to MP4's using XMedia Recode. I just remuxed them by copying the tracks, and they won't play on my Xbox 360. It's a standard H.264/AAC MP4, not sure why it won't play. Here's the MediaInfo, please and thanks!

Could be reference frames, variable frame rate, perhaps others. Try comparing to a known good file that plays.
-
It has a variable frame rate which a lot of players won't accept, what you need to do is get the original mkv and open it in tsmuxergui and change the frame rate from 9000 to 2400/1001 and save as file.ts.Then open the ts file with mkvmerge and remux as mkv, then load the remuxed mkv into mp4box save as mp4.
No need to re-encode the mkv into mp4,all the steps i've type just repackages the video.I think, therefore i am a hamster. -
I've tried other files with reference frames of 3, 5, & 8, they played just fine. Not sure if I have another video with variable frame rate. I've compared it to another file that worked, tried testing any differences I though would matter, to no avail. Anything else specific you think could make a difference?
I didn't re-encode, just used XMedia Recode to Remux them, no re-encoding.
Thank you both for the fast replies! -
My sony blu-ray player will display videos with variable frame rates but my sisters lg blu-ray player just says the file is corrupted.

The audio on the other hand is probably your problem. Firstly the HE-AAC, which I've never know Xbox360 to like. Secondly it looks like the audio may be 5.1 Surround, which Xbox 360 also does not like.
You need to use basic AAC-LC Stereo if you want your Xbox to play it. -
The video also has a stereo audio.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
here's the supported audio & video formats for xbox 360 - http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/console/audio-video-playback-faq

The bitrate say 186 kbps for 2 channels, the original channel was 6.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
No, "Channel(s)_Original" is the actual number of channels in the AAC bitstream. "Channel(s)" is just the (in this case incorrect) number written in the mp4 container.
