Hi everybody,
Yesterday I lent my computer to a friend and I don't know why but lately yesterday, I saw that he totally erased my entire history.....
I know that recover deleted history is a complicated thing or just impossible to do, but I just want some of your opinions.
I can't made a system restore because on my computer it didn't work anymore, even if I go back to yesterday, the day before yesterday or last month, it didn't work.
And it wasn't sure either that I will find my previous history... that method work half the time and with my bad luck it was impossible from the start.
I used Recuva on AppData/Mozilla and I recovered some files but I'm not sure that it's a huge help.
Except the files with big coded names, do you know if there is something useful in this :

something useful that I can put on my Mozilla folder?
aside that, I don't have any others ideas and I doubt that I will recover my firefox's history.

and for system restore, did some of you already have an error 0x00000022 with it?

Google maintains an independent browsing history. If you have a Google account and you are typically logged in while browsing, you can go to Google History, log in to your Google account, and see the pages you visited while you were logged in.

Possibly a solution thanks, but I assume that because of a Firefox's update a few months ago, I wasn't connected to my google account.
I'm not sure and not familiar with my firefox profile, but when I open a firefox page and click on the menu button and later on "show folder", I see my Profile folder, what can I do after that? -
I found an .json file thanks to Recuva but I don't know if it can help me

Firefox uses a file named "places.sqlite" to store history and other stuff.
See this page: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Places.sqlite
It is located in your profile folder, if you don't have a backup of "places.sqlite" your history is gone forever.
