Big problem with ati tv wonder and virtualdub

what i did to get higher resolutions was download the drivers from soundforge. It works now in high resolutions but i get quite a few problems. The audio sync is a little off but its not huge. The biggest probelm is the frame dropping. It will be ok at the begining but then at some points it will just stop but the audio will keep on going. I lose like 300 frames for 30 mins. I heard u need to defrag ur hd so i did that. Today i capped 1 hour and 15 minutes of video and dropped 1300 frames. I use Picvideo compression and cap at 640 by 480. When i stop the capture it says something about capture rate is to high or something. IF SOMEONE COULD PLEASE ASAP IT WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED. THANKS :D

Could you post the link to where you got these drivers? I cannot seem to get vdub to capture higher then 352x240..
