Hi all,
I am currently using a Pioneer DV-535 with macrovision disabled and multi-regioning. When playing back NTSC VCDs and DVDs the screen looks fine, but when recording on to VHS I do not know how to go about it without:
1. Having the video play back in black and white, and slightly faster than the original (the video only plays back in Auto mode on VCR)
OR
2. Having the video play back in colour, but with horizontal lines across the screen. (the video only plays back in Auto mode on VCR)
I can select Auto, NTSC and PAL (60) on the back of my DVD player, and Auto, NTSC and PAL on my VCR. My VCR is able to record and playback in NTSC and PAL, and my TV can playback in both.
Which settings should I set my DVD player and VCR to give the best quality recording possible?
Thanks
Wayne
