I'm putting together some DVDs of music performances and want the audio to be good.
I have the audio tracks as 48k stereo wav files (I've been retouching them in audacity so that everything sounds perfect).
It seems reasonable enough to just let DVDStyler encode the audio, but I have no way of knowing what quality DVDStyler uses. What bitrate? Is it even VBR?
So maybe I should just encode everything myself with Audacity?

The default is AC3 48Khz at 192 Kbits. You can alternatively select MP2 48Khz. You can adjust the bit rate manually before recording. The audio always sounds fine to me but I'm more concerned with the video quality. The only way you'll know if it works for you is to try it yourself. Good luck.

DVD -> Options -> Audio bitrate
if you don't set it when creating a new project
Also if you do video encoding in DVDStyler you should know this

Ah, thanks. I had thought bitrate settings would be in the options for each titleset. But I guess it makes more sense for this to be a universal setting.
Thank you very much for telling me about this! I really appreciate itYou are so helpful Videobruger. God bless you
