  1. Hello, dear all.

    See below:

mpv is a fork of mplayer2 and MPlayer. It shares some features with the former projects while introducing many more.

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

    Implementation of mpv player

If people are willing to give the Testbuild with mpv player (x64 bit version ONLY for now!) a try, and if problems occurs or issues or recommendations, don't hesitate to post in the related issue tracker.

I really want to see how this player will be in SubtitleEdit.

For only play it seems Ok. Almost not have any features. Only play, pause and similar basic functions. Not to compare with Potplayer, for example.

But, the manual of it has some more instructions. Maybe someone get interest in testing the program or showing some weak points about the player.

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

    • mpv based player - bomi (excellent program but inactive now)
    • mpv frontend - smplayer (can use mplayer and mpv as playback engine)
