Hi
New to the forum. Not sure if this is the proper sub category to ask this question. I have three SVHS-C tapes to convert. I see on ebay that you can buy the VHS-C to VHS adapter cases. My question is will they work to convert SVHS-C tapes? I'm thinking this may not work as I remember SHVS tapes wouldn't play on a VHS machine.
Any assistance much appreciated.
Craig

Found what I needed on ebay . . the adapters do in fact work with SHVS-C along with VHS-C . . . just had to dig a little deeper to confirm.

I believe the op means that the adapters work with the svhs-c physically in that they can fit in,as to playing in a vhs it can only be done if the machine has svhs playback.

Sorry gang . . . should have been clearer in my post. Yes to play on a SVHS machine . . . here is the link to one on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JVC-GENUINE-VHS-C-SVHS-CASSETTE-ADAPTER-C-P7U-/351659635059?ha...UAAOSwFNZWykYb
Will then S video to my Sony DHR 1000 dv deck and firewire into my FCP for editing.
