  1. ok i been trying for days with all my DLed avi movies to make them into mpg so i could then half them and make vcds.

    i can view everything so far so i dont think its codec's as far as i can see anyhow.

    in Tmpgenc i

    l load my avi source movie it puts in the audio source the avi
    i load my ouput like test.mpg
    i load the vcd Pal template (because my avi was done with pal 25)
    and i start the encode.

    ALLways at 64% of What ever movie i try i get......

    "lligal floating decimal point calculation order"


    Now i found something on the site that suggest i should use vdub and make a audio .wav file for the audio souce to use in tmpgenc but i just did it still wont work:(

    I despratly need help :( pls and thank you

    do a search for illegal floating decimal...you'll find plenty of threads on this topic

  3. It means you have some bad frames in the original file.

    Install DivX Antifreeze find a link under tools and change in TMPGEnc. under Environmental settings: VFAPI plug-ins: DirectShow Multimedia File Reader priority to 1 by right clicking it and select Higher Priority
