I just moved in with a new roommate, decided to purchase this surround sound: Samsung HT-J4100 5.1 Channel 1000-Watt Blu-Ray Home Theater System (2015 Model) off of Amazon. I hooked it up to his television, everything is working perfectly save for the Xbox One. He has an older Insignia with no optical audio input, so the HDMI cable is run directly from the receiver to the television on HDMI 2, an optical audio is run from the receiver to the cable box, the TV plays through it fine, and the receiver has a Blu-Ray player, but the Xbox One runs through HDMI 3 and we can't hear anything out of it. Is there any way to have everything run through the TV? The cable box has AUX, the TV has AUX, and the receiver has AUX, but with the optical audio plugged in, they don't seem to work together.
I'm not sure if I can post pictures, but I'd be more than glad to if that will help.
Thanks, from a newbie.
