  1. Someone told me that they had imported an mp3 audio file and an image file into Express Animate (from NCH Software) and saved it as a wmv video file, which they then converted to an mp4 video file. He said I could do the same with Windows Movie Maker. So I imported some mp3 files into Windows Movie Maker, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this, and no one I've spoken to seems to know. Any suggestions?

    For Windows Live Movie Maker:
Add a still picture(Add photo and videos) and mp3 audio(Add music). Last Export.

    Export to mp4 video tutorial

Or are you using the older Windows Movie maker?

    Thanks very much for responding.

Yes, I know have to add a still picture, but I didn't even figure it out to the point where I would be adding one.

I'm using Windows Movie Maker 6.0.6002.18005.

I'll watch the tutorial a little later; I'm a bit busy at the moment.

I don't think the old windows movie maker can export to mp4. You need to upgrade to windows live movie maker. Included in windows live essentials, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/movie-maker#t1=overview
