  1. I am following the foolproof avi to svcd guide, but when I try to open the *.vdr file in CCE, I get an error that the file msvcr70.dll is missing. So I did a search and found it and copied it to the system32 folder. Now when I try to open the *.vdr file, CCE crashes. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

You may extract the audio to wav first and select wav audio in VD.

btw, funny that I am not the only one who got this "missing msvcr70.dll" message. It did appear to me few days ago, after I did a "M$ security update" and I upated to DirectX 8.1. So I am not sure, what caused, that the .dll was missed. I also searched, found and copied to system32 and everything is working fine again. Do you have a clue?

  4. As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

Thanks for response Mirror_Image. I found that site when I was searching for that .dll, but I am still confused, because I did not install Microsoft.NET.
However, I do not care about much.
