  1. Hi

    I am looking for a software to delete scenes from movies i.e. .mkv files. Can any once please suggest me any free or cheap software?

  2. Depends a bit on your requirements. If it's without re-encoding free software will cut on I-frames. The distance between I-frames dependens on the video codec. Often h.264 is used in .mkv in which case the distance may be up to 10s. Video To Video, MKVToolnix, Avidemux (can be tricky)

    If you want frame accurracy smart cutters can be used where only the parts of the cut to the nearst I-fram is re-encoded while the rest is copied. SolveigMM Video Splitter, VideoRedo

    And any video converter can give you frame accurracy if everything is re-encoded.

  3. Use MkvCutter for split/cut video parts with accuracy (without encode). Then, use MKVToolnix for append them (without encode)
