TSPE (transport stream packet editor) issues!

I have been using this program with my Hauppage tv capture box.....i record from the satellite and use TSPE to remove commercials and the like...sometimes the program opens but nothing comes up on the screen....it opens because there's the small icon showing it opened but sometimes i does't load on the screen....I don't know what causes this, when i do a system restore it works fine. I click on the TSPE icon and the screen of the program actually opens and it works.....i'm using the pro version 0.815 build registered to me.....something causes the program to not load on the screen but it's actually open in the background,,I hope this makes sense.....I have now come to do nothing else on this PC since this program is so damn buggy...any ideas would be greatly appreciated......yes I'm running the Haali media splitter and ffdshow, klite codec pack and the shark 007 codec pack.....

Does version 0.760 work any better?
Tried remove both codecs packs? Any difference?

Or maybe time to try another editor. Maybe videoredo h264 suite.
