    Hi there,

For Handbrake 0.10.2, when tweaking the settings, and seeing what settings works best, how do I test only a small section of the file? Is this possible?

I don't want to sit around for three hours of encoding, waiting to see if a certain setting has worked or not.

    Thank you!

You can use the "Preview" option which will use your settings to create a clip of a duration of your choosing.

Thank you for your response. I don't want a "preview" of something of which I have already encoded. I want to encode a small section, or a chapter, to see if my settings work correctly.

Cut out a small section of your original video file with a lossless cutter?

  5. VidCoder is an improved front end for the Handbrake engine. You can encode single chapters or group of chapters, or specify beginning and end timecodes of the section to be encoded/
