I downloaded various musical pieces, both classical and jazz from the Internet, but when I drag them to my MP3 player which is connected to my PC and try to play them, I get the Format Error message on the player. How can I get Format Factory to convert them? I need a step-by-step guidance here...

    We need more information...

What video formats does your mp3 player support??? Or just mp3 audio?

I don't know. It's an off brand MP3 player, so I'll have it checkked and get back to you in a few days....

So, you installed Format Factory ... congratulations, you may now have spyware on your PC if you were not careful during the installation. You have been warned on the download page ("Bundleware alert!"). Better check that with e.g. Malwarebytes (IMPORTANT: disable the PRO test phase at the end of the installation!), Spybot S&D or Threatfire...

What to do and how to use which converter, depends on the source format of the downloaded files as well as the target format. "The internet" is big and manifold. How shall we know whether you downloaded YouTube videos or iTunes AAC music? Pretty different formats. MediaInfo would be able to tell us all required details (but be careful as well not to install possible bundles if you prefer the GUI version; the CLI version is safe but not everyone enjoys the command line).
