  1. I've followed the Divx to VCD all in one guide step by step. In the past I used the same method for divx files and they worked fine. But when I tried to do the same with a MPEG-4 file TMPG changed the resolution to a lesser one and after burning the file to a VCD the border was smaller. Can anyone help me with this?

  2. Simple really! VCD or SVCD isn't compatiable with MPEG 4 in any way
shape or form. All it does is convert it down to MPG1 or 2!

  3. Perhaps I didn't define my problem clear enough. The problem is basically this: I have a file(MPEG4) which I would like to convert to VCD(MPEG1). However when I use TMPGenc to do this it drops the original resolution480x360 to 352x240. When the finished converted file is burned the dimensions of the border are different. An object that was close to the top left corner of the screen is now directly in the top left corner.

  4. Looking around the sight more I saw a chart which seems to suggest that the resolution for a VCD could be no better than 352x288. If that's true it's not my main concern. My problem is the diminshed border size
