I don't have any examples handy. It's s thin horizontal line of junk at the top (or bottom) of the frame. Exactly what you might imagine the glue holding two pieces of film together at a splice would look like.

All the commercial editors have such motion interpolation filters. Search through these forums for ReplaceFramesMC -- you'll probably posts by others that mention them.
