    does anyone know how to disable macrovision on this vhs to dvd recorder?

    If you are talking about a one-piece unit recorder....there is no "hack" for Macrovision like a hack for DVD regions.

    Any electronic Macrovision device would need to be inserted between the VHS player and the integrated DVD recorder and there's generally no way to do that with all-in-one units.
