One of the most common needs in our video operation is to take a big video file (say, 5GB) and split it evenly into several files of 100MB each. This is imposed by our network admin, who requires files uploaded to his server to be 100MB tops (don't ask...).
What's the best way to do this? I've searched around about ways of doing this with ffmpeg, but it can only segment by duration, not size. Is there a better freeware/open source program to do this out there?
