I am looking for a software (free or to pay) that will allow me to take audio files (.wave or .mp3) and burn many onto a standard DVD.

I had one I used for years "GOLAND Audio DVD Creator" but it will not work on WINDOWS 10. It was excellent. I am sorry that it was never upgraded to function with the newest Windows Operating Systems.

Can anyone help me to find a software that can take audio files and burn many onto a standard DVD - that will work with WINDOWS 10?

    Thanks one and all!

Did it create a dvd-video(video_ts folder) with just audio? That works on all dvd players?

    Or a real dvd-audio?

Or just burn mp3/wav on a dvd in data mode?

    Baldrick,
    Thank you for your response.
GOLAND Audio DVD Creator created a DVD that was only audio. No video at all. It works on every DVD and Blu-Ray player I have ever used.

It is very simple - I download the wave or .mp3 files. The program automatically creates a menu with one of four static images. To play the disk the menu comes up with a list of the titles of the tracks ...........and you just select the track you want ....................exactly like selecting a chapter on a DVD movie.

There are no folders. The sound is high -definition. There is no loss in quality that I can hear.

It is made on a DVD-R or DVD+R.

No "data mode" that I can see. It is an "audio mode".

It is excellent software - EXCELLENT. But it won't work with Windows 10. Very sad!

Did a little surfing around this site and came across this, your software is about 10 years old, maybe it can be made to work? This is 2012 software, it's command line but there is a GUI for it.

It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

Regardless of how the app is labelled/advertised, what andy jackson is referring to is NOT a "DVD-Audio" formatted disc, but rather a standard "DVD-Video" formatted disc using an encoding & authoring style which emphasizes a preference for the audio quality and generates a simple (read: low bitrate), generic video stream as a companion placeholder with the audio in order to provide DVD-Video compliance. The big clue in understanding this is the phrase: "It works on every DVD and Blu-Ray player I have ever used".
If it were a true "DVD-Audio" formatted disc, it would NOT work in most DVD-Video & Blu-ray players, but only those that specifically & explicitly supported DVD-Audio (probably only ~5% of players, a rarity indeed).

The type of disc created by the previously mentioned OP-preferred app can actually be created by ANY DVD-Video creation app, just maybe not automatically or optimized for the audio. But there are also apps that one can use that would likely do a BETTER job than the OP's (because of using a still/VOBU instead of low-bitrate video, thus maximizing the disc space and the possibility of quality audio). And some/many of these will still work with Win10

However, I wouldn't just give up on "won't work!"...How won't it work? Is it giving you an error message? Is it crashing? BSOD? Is it freezing?
Have you even tried the various compatibility modes (which would be the likely place to try, as this would be expected for such an old app)?
Have you tried running it in a VM, particularly a 32bit one? (almost a surefire way to make it work correctly)
But which OS version (Win10 Home? Pro?...) are you running?

Need more & more-detailed info before deciding this is futile.

I am running Windows 10 Home 64 bit.

    What is a VM?

Please pardon my ignorance. Sorry, but I am not a super tech guy. I appreciate your explaining this to me.

This program, GOLAND Audio DVD Creator, works on the OS WINDOWS XP - and no other OS beyond that.

    Here is what happens.......
The program opens up and proceeds to Step #1
I download the wave files. They are accepted.
Then the program stops and this error message comes up.......................
    Audio DVD has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Thanks, I downloaded this software and tried it out. Blaze Video Music DVD Creator
    Result: The DVD is unplayable.
This is the same situation as GOLAND Audio DVD Creator - it is for old operating Systems - Windows 98, Windows 200 and Windows XP.
There is no upgrade I can find for Windows 10.

  12. Don't most DVD/Blu-ray players now play mp3 files on data DVDs?
