can i fix this video ?

hi
i have 120 mkv videos . which include study matrials .

they suddelny jump the seek bar a few minutes forward .
the seek is not working to move back .

any chance to fix them ? , and what is the problem .

on my computer .
i opened throw media player classic .
4 secound and the video jump to minute 5:10 .
and i can't move back or forward .

Same here with most players. Some just top playing at 4 seconds. A remux with MkvToolnix didn't help. Demuxing the audio and video tracks with MkvExtractGUI didn't help either. A quick look with a hex editor shows there's nothing but zeros throughout the middle of the file. So there's nothing that can be done to recover the missing section.
