Installing Avisynth 2.60 under Windows 10

I've run out of attempts at installing Avisynth 2.60 under Windows 10. I've tried "Run as Administrator" and have tried using the actual Windows Administrator account but nothing has worked. Each time I try to install it I get this error:



So I'm looking for some assistance. Thanks.

Moving you to our video section as avisynth problems are video related.

This is why I don't upgrade to win 10...yet.

Is it just the avisynth.dll that causes this problem? Maybe click ignore and manually copy it to the system32 folder.

I have Avisynth 2.60 installed in Win 10. I remember seeing that error while installing, I think I just clicked "Ignore" and it went ahead and installed. I'm assuming it was looking for previous versions which did not exist.

Thanks for the responses. I should have included that I tried the Ignore button as well. When I hit Ignore it gives a final error and says it can't copy avisynth.dll to system directory.

Try coping it manually. I can't remember if that's what I did (I was installing numerous programs at the time), but it is working fine on my Win 10 system.

I just checked. I'm running the 32-bit version of Avisynth 2.60 and the avisynth.dll is installed in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"
