  1. Hi folks,
I would like to ask you's for some advice. My problem is, recently burned DVD's are freezing/pausing.
This has only started since I changed my os from Win XP (x64) to Windows 7 (x64) Ultimate.

    DVD Burner 1 LG GH22NS50
    DVD Burner 2 LG GH22LS50 Laser-scribe

Here's my past and current workflow :-

    Canopus ADVC-55 + WinDV
Capture 8mm analogue home video footage as AVI files

    Vegas 9
    Import the AVIs, simple editing.
Render as video m2v and audio mpa elementary streams.

    DVD-Lab Pro
    Simple movie (no menus)
Import m2v & mpa elementary streams
    Add chapters
    Compile DVD

    ConvertXtoDVD4
    Burn already converted project
    Write speed (4x)
    Using Verbatim DVD-R (16x)

With my XP os all burned dvds played faultlessly. (Only burned dvd5s).

After reading causes of dvds freezing, I have upgraded both DVD burners firmware to TN03 (Win7 support) from LG's website.

I have also tried using ImgBurn3.
Both burning applications report successful burns.

But I am still getting getting freezing/pausing dvds.

I have copied the DVD-Lab Pro complied DVD (folder/files) onto a Win7 laptop.
Burning on the laptop does produce good burns.

So I am guessing that the DVD burners with Win7 os are the problem.
So besides buying new DVD hardware, is there any other fix ?

    Thanks in advance.
