  2. In the general aspect, yeah, that could be right, but here is more specific:
Encode AVI to MPEG1 using TMPGEnc and loading a VideoCD Template, and then burning using VCDEasy or TSCV to create a Standard Video-CD movie
Encode AVI to MPEG2 using TMPGEnc and loading a SVCD Template, and then burning using VCDEasy or TSCV to create a Standard SuperVCD movie

  4. In TMPGEnc, there are pre-defined settings stored in files which are called Templates, you must load one, so it will set the encoding to a specific standard, you can't just encode and expect a file to work, it has to be in a standard settings.

  7. Do you have TMPGEnc with the VFP Plugin ? it might not be opening your AVI file correctly.

  10. If you are doing a standard Video-CD, then 80min movie = 800mb, and it WILL fit an 80min CDR media.

  11. great done it got it to work on sisters dvd well pleased

INSTEAD OF HAVING THE MOVIE ON 2 CD IS THERE A WAY TO COMPRESS SO A 1.1/2 FILM WILL FIT ON A 80MB CD

  12. Keep in mind if you paln to burn as SVCD or a XSVCD you better make sure the stand alone DVD player plays SVCD, about 90-95% of the players out there will play VCD or XVCD but less than 25% plays SVCD and you can forget about Sony, toshiba, panasonic or JVC playing SVCD's at all.
