hello star wars the Despecialized Edition basically removed the changes lucas made over time. my problem is trying to burn the 16gb .mkv to a blu ray. I have 25 gig disk and all but i cant find any info on software to use to burn the file so it can be recognised by a blu ray player and not just a file on the disk readable by like windows.

no, I have the official blu ray disk and all. what im trying to do is burn a modified version that removes all the crap cgi and stuff to a blank blu ray disk. as i said its a .mkv and everything i have tried has resulted in the file being put unto the disk and not having it as like an actual disk
readable by a bluray player -
So, at best it needs to be remuxed, but likely it will have to be reconverted and certainly reauthored into proper BDMV formatting.

no i have version 2.5 available on myspleen or thepiratebay or really any torrent site. what software would i need to convert it to a blu ray format and to burn it to a disk able to be played in any blu ray player?

If you don't need an elaborate menu, you could use BD Rebuilder for this. It will re-encode the movie to fit Blu-ray specifications, either 720p or 1080p, depending on what you want and what you are starting with. Look through the Settings.
To import the video into BD Rebuilder, assuming it isn't now in DVD or Blu-ray format, click on File-->Import-->Video Files. -
hello i tried BD Rebuilder and installed all the needed stuff but it wouldn't launch it gave me an error. any help with that software or and alts?

also i was able to transcode to an mp4 and its only about 4 gigs so its able to be put onto a dvd but when i did the quality went to crap but it could be played on a dvd player. is it possible to burn a 720p mp4 onto a dvd so it can be played in a dvd player and not like just a computer.
