Is it possible to import a Dolby True HD track onto Audacity and converting it to Dolby AC3 5.1?
I have tried it directly and then just the audio track as Raw data, but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm not sure if TrueHD is supported or not, but have you tried the ffmpeg source plugin for Audacity?

Aside from audacity, there a tons of tools which should be able to convert TrueHD to AC3, btw. TrueHD normally comes with a ac3-core, but mkv doesn't support that and thus the core is removed.
most basic tool to convert TureHD to ac3 is probably ffmpeg, but most video converting tools should also be able to do what you want.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555, marcorocchini
